A nonprofit news service committed to in-depth coverage of health care policy and politics. All original content is available to the public free of charge, such as subscriptions for their daily health newsletters via email and the “What the Health” weekly podcast.

Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation

A nonprofit foundation focused on national health issues, as well as the U.S. role in global health policy. Develops independent, nonpartisan analysis for policymakers, the media, the health policy community and the public – and all information is always provided free of charge.

Health Affairs Blog “Following the ACA”

A blog from the leading journal of health policy thought and research. The Blog features posts from noted health policy experts and commentators from a wide variety of perspectives, as well as Health Affairs contributors and staff.

The Commonwealth Fund

A private foundation that promotes a high performing health care system that achieves better access, improved quality, and greater efficiency. The Fund supports independent research on health care issues and makes grants to improve health care practice and policy.

Center for Budget and Policy Priorities: Health Reform

A nonpartisan research and policy institute providing analysis on various topics. Their work on health reform supports efforts to ensure that programs provide and maintain affordable coverage to meet the needs of low-income children and families, seniors, and people with disabilities.
