Community Health Symposium
The Community Health Symposium is an annual event that provides organizations within the state of Florida opportunities to help improve the wellness of Floridians. In addition, it provides a way for members of the community to discuss critical health care issues and look for solutions to affordability, access, and quality.
The 2025 Community Health Symposium and Sapphire Awards is set for May 1-2, 2025, at the Renaissance Sea World. Check back often for updates.
Sapphire Awards
The Sapphire Awards honor programs, organizations, and individuals that have demonstrated excellence and innovation in addressing community health issues. Since 2005, a total of 148 Sapphire Awards totaling $7.5 million have been presented.

2023 Highlights
Florida Blue Foundation’s Community Health Symposium and Sapphire Awards is an annual two-day event that brings together thought leaders, community partners, and nonprofit organizations dedicated to improving the health of the communities in our state. This year’s event focused on mental well-being, one of three focus areas for the Foundation that have a significant impact on overall health and health outcomes.
