Which plan would work best for me?

If you have coverage through your employer, ask your HR representative for help picking from the list of options that are available. If you’re looking to buy coverage for you or your family, here are a few things to consider:

  • Cost: What is the overall cost of the plan, from your monthly premium to out-of-pocket expenses like deductible, copayments and coinsurance?
  • Benefits: Do you want a plan that offers extra benefits like vision, dental and hearing? Are you interested in fitness programs, ways to save money and wellness incentives?
  • Doctor and hospital choices: Do you want to be able to choose the doctors you prefer to see? Do you want a primary care doctor coordinating your care?
  • Prescription drugs: If you take regular prescriptions, does the plan help pay for them? Are they on the list of covered medications (called a formulary)?
  • Travel: Do you travel often or have a home in another state? Do you need a larger provider network to cover you?
  • Convenience: Are providers who accept the plan nearby? Can you get prescription or specialty drugs through the mail?

Just remember, you’re not alone. We have licensed agents ready to help you. They can answer your questions, help you find the plan that makes the most sense for you and your family and help you enroll in the plan.
