If you have a chronic health condition, having medications delivered to your home gives you one less thing to worry about and one less trip to the pharmacy.

That’s why our members have the option of having their maintenance medications—those taken for ongoing conditions—delivered right to their door. It’s safe, convenient and saves money on automated refills and renewals for 90-day supplies of medications.

Beginning Jan. 1, Express Scripts Pharmacy will replace AllianceRx Walgreens Prime as the home delivery pharmacy provider for Florida Blue and Truli for Health. In addition, Accredo will become the new specialty pharmacy provider, replacing AllianceRx Walgreens Prime.

Florida Blue Medicare members will have the option of keeping their current home delivery service provider for maintenance and specialty medications, or switch to Express Scripts or Accredo.

Here’s some information about the new companies and details on how to set up your account with them.

Express Scripts Pharmacy

Express Scripts Pharmacy is one of the largest home delivery pharmacies in the nation. You’ll have access to Express Scripts’ mobile apps; $0 standard delivery in weather-proof packaging; access to specialty trained pharmacists, nurses and insurance representatives; and automatic refill reminders. Plus, your copays will remain the same. For members with coinsurance or who pay out-of-pocket until a deductible is met, your costs could be even lower.

Current home delivery prescriptions for Florida Blue and Truli for Health members will be automatically transferred to Express Scripts Pharmacy by Jan. 1. To continue receiving your home delivery prescriptions, all you need to do is set up an account and add a method of payment with Express Scripts Pharmacy.

There are two easy ways to set up an account:

  • Go to esrx.com/FLBlue to create an account and update your profile. You’ll see a list of your active drugs and be able to refill your order
  • Call Express Scripts Pharmacy at 866-230-7261.

After you sign up with Express Scripts, you can download their app by searching “Express Scripts” in your mobile app store. Once you sign in, you’ll be able to see your prescriptions that were transferred from your previous home delivery service. You can also sign up for text alerts to remind you when your refill is due.

For questions about prescriptions you need before Jan. 1, contact AllianceRx Walgreens Prime at 888-849-7865. After Jan. 1, go to Express Scripts Pharmacy or call 866-230-7261. Requests for order forms can be sent to: Express Scripts, P.O. Box 66577, St. Louis, MO 63166-6577.

Accredo

For members who use specialty pharmacy options, any remaining refills of your specialty medicines will be automatically moved to Accredo. You’ll receive a call or email from Accredo about how to set up an account, including adding a method of payment. To register after Jan. 1, go to Accredo to create an account and update your profile. You’ll see a list of your active prescriptions and you can send your refill order when you’re ready. You can also call Accredo at 888-425-5970.
