Brian Pieninck

President and Chief Executive Officer

Brian D. Pieninck is President and Chief Executive Officer of GuideWell, a $32 billion not-for-profit health services company focused on transforming health care and Florida Blue, Florida’s leading health insurer. GuideWell serves more than 36 million customers across all 50 states, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, including over 6 million individuals in Florida.

Pieninck is active in leading professional and community organizations and committed to advancing opportunities at the intersection of health and economic well-being. He is Board Chair of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and serves on the boards of AHIP, BCS Financial Corporation, the National Institute of Health Care Management (NIHCM), Morgan State University, and United Way Northeast Florida. He is also a member of the Florida Council of 100 and Jacksonville Civic Council.

Mr. Pieninck holds a Bachelor of Science in business studies and business administration from Southern New Hampshire University.
