Florida Blue and Medical Specialists of Palm Beach Create Management Services Organization to Improve Quality of Care and Health of Medicare Members

Florida Blue and Medical Specialists of Palm Beach (MSPB) have expanded their collaborative care agreement and formed a jointly held Management Services Organization to provide enhanced coordinated care services for Medicare Advantage members in Palm Beach County.  

Over the years, Florida Blue and MSPB have enjoyed a strong network relationship, and the new venture will allow the organizations to expand their relationship by enabling primary care network services, care coordination and quality outcomes for members of Florida Blue Medicare HMO plans in Palm Beach County.

“Florida Blue’s HMO products provide valuable choices to Medicare beneficiaries by meeting their care needs based upon a close relationship with their Primary Care Physician. The MSPB multi-specialty group delivers a unique care coordination operating model that supports Florida Blue's focus on improving the overall health status of its Medicare Advantage members,” said Elizabeth Strombom, senior vice president of Government Markets at Florida Blue. “Value-based arrangements are becoming the new normal as we work to improve the quality of care given to patients, while also reducing the cost of care.”
