From time to time, your network of providers may change because the agreements with them may need to be negotiated so you can continue to get high-quality, cost-effective care when you need it. Or a doctor may decide they no longer wish to be in one of our networks.

One of the many benefits of your Florida Blue plan is the opportunity to get quality care at a discounted rate from the doctors, pharmacies, and other medical facilities in your network.
Yes. You can keep receiving care from your doctor at your in-network rate while we work to reach an agreement on contract terms.
An out-of-network doctor or medical facility does not have an agreement with Florida Blue. This means services from them may cost you more or are not covered under your insurance plan.
If you choose an out-of-network provider for your care, you normally pay higher out-of-pocket costs than if you use a doctor, pharmacy, or other medical facility in your network. You can look up details specific to your insurance plan at FloridaBlue.com or call us at the number on the back of your member ID card.
During a network change, some members who are in active treatment or pregnant can continue to receive services with the same benefits and at their in-network costs even if your doctor chooses to leave our network. This is called “continuity of care.” For more information about continuity of care, please call the number on the back of your member ID card.
To find other providers in your area, please check the Florida Blue provider directory or call us at the number on the back of your member ID card.
We’re ready to help. Just call us at the number on the back of your member ID card and we’ll work to match you to a new care team.
