A Special Enrollment Period, or SEP, is a time period when people who have experienced certain life changes or have incomes below a certain point can switch health plans or enroll for the first time. A Florida Blue agent can find out if you’re eligible and help find the right plan.

Depending on your household income, you may qualify for a premium tax credit. An advanced premium tax credit will lower your monthly premium payment. In fact, 4 out of 5 people who enroll in a health plan through HealthCare.gov can find a plan for $10 or less per month, with financial help.2 A Florida Blue agent can help you determine if you qualify for this. With financial assistance, you could qualify for a Florida Blue health plan with monthly payments as low as $0.1
