Florida Blue Celebrates 70 years as Advocate for Florida Communities

Known for more than half a century as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Florida, today Florida Blue marks its 70th anniversary as a proven health care market leader, and a recognized contributor to local communities throughout the state of Florida.

Since 1944, Florida Blue has helped people in their pursuit of health, reflecting the company’s commitment to ensuring affordable plans, providing personal service and support, and building strong communities that enable health and wellness for all.
