There is an old saying, if you talk the talk, you better walk the walk, and I truly believe in practicing what I preach.  When I was asked to chair the American Heart Association’s (AHA) First Coast Heart Walk, it was easy for me to say yes, because promoting physical activity is such an important part of building healthier lives and communities. I asked 1,000 Florida Blue employees, their friends and family to join me in this commitment by participating in many of the Heart Walk events across the state. I strive to walk the talk and I have made that commitment through partnering with organizations that encourage the importance of healthy lifestyles, like the American Heart Association.  I have co-chaired the AHA Heart Walk and Start Walking Day in Minneapolis and lead National Walk @ Lunch efforts at Florida Blue. I am excited to have the opportunity to lead the AHA First Coast Heart Walk so please join me and the Florida Blue team at the Heart Walk events across the state.  We will be in full force on September 21st in Jacksonville Florida.  You can be a part of leading a healthier movement.
